This pair of all metal vintage Super Skates is still in working condition and the wheels roll freely! I spent quite a bit of time searching for similar over-the-shoe metal rollerskates but could find only ones made with plastic wheels from the '50s, so this pair has to be older than that. (The original owner was a senior citizen who is now in his 70s.)

The length of the roller skates is adjustable by loosening or tightening the bolt underneath the skates. There is no skate key; I could turn one bolt with my fingers but you'll need a pair of pliers and some WD-40 to turn the bolt on the second skate. There are some signs of rusting on the wheel bolts.
