Legal Links
I frequently receive questions in e-mail that concern legal matters. However, I am not a lawyer and do not give legal advice. Instead, I usually refer readers to one of these online sites so they can begin their own search for sound legal advice.
FindLaw provides guidance on a variety of legal matters, including business plans and insurance. The site includes a link for Small Businesses and other topics of special interest. This is usually my own first choice for general legal information.
Nolo.com, the website for Nolo Press, publishes trustworty legal information on a wide range of topics. The goal of Nolo.com is to provide all Americans with legal access. In "Ask Auntie Nolo," readers receive common sense answers to personal legal questions.
Cornell Law School's Legal Information Institute is a legal reference tool with links to every legal topic imaginable. This site is most often used by lawyers and those who want to read more than simple summaries.
